Win 1 million Twitter Followers with the Twitterich experiment

Twitter followers can be hard to come by, and some people will purchase marketing and advertising campaigns in order to reach out to more users and grab them as followers.

However, one way you can do it is to follow the user @1MillionRicher and be in the chance of winning their account once they reach 1 million total followers.

This is a Twitter Social Media experiment being hosted over at Twitterich.com

It has just started and is set to go viral all over the internet within the next few days as more people become involved. “Liking” posts on Facebook has been increasingly popular when people have a chance of winning something, so following a user on twitter is something we can expect a lot of people to do, as long as they market it right.

The website has a great video which we would embed, however its a full screen video which plays within the background of the website, very cleverly. You can watch it here.

Twitterich explains in the video that they simply gather the users, and one winner will get the account. They said however that one user will win “an account with 1 million followers”, so it may not be the same account that is being used for this experiment. They also explain that this is in fact an experiment, and a clever one at that. The video ends with saying that you should tweet and facebook your crazy fingers off to get the message across the world, as the faster they get a million followers, the faster someone is going to become Twitter Rich.

The first tweet was just four days ago when they explained they had reached 100 total followers and had 999,900 to go. Once this kicks off properly, we can expect to see this numbers grow drastically.

Below is the details that are posted on the website hidden away in a little “About Twitterich” link

How Serious is this?

This is “we-hired-a-lawyer” serious. If you still don’t believe it, please read what the lawyer told us to write below.

About Twitterich

Twitterich is not sponsored by, endorsed or affiliated with Twitter.

Once the Twitter handle @1MillionRicher reaches one million (1,000,000) followers, one (1) follower of @1MillionRicher will receive the Twitter account. The award recipient will be chosen at random and notified via Twitter. Twitterich will not use the @1MillionRicher Twitter account for any advertising, link spamming, or personal messaging with any followers, except for notifying the potential award recipient once they are selected. However, by following @1MillionRicher, you potentially will end up following a different Twitter handle once the award recipient has been confirmed and the Twitter accounts have been merged. Promoter is not responsible for how the award recipient engages with any Twitter followers.

As with any other Twitter user, you can always unfollow any person or organization. Promoter reserves the right to disqualify award recipient in its sole discretion if such recipient’s Twitter account is deemed offensive or polarizing to a significant number of followers, such as those with an inappropriate handle (obscene, offensive, overtly partisan, etc.). The award recipient should be certain he/she is comfortable with having a large number of followers on Twitter. It is possible that the number of followers given to the award recipient may be less than one million if @1MillionRicher followers stop following after the one million follower goal has been reached.
