As you may know, finding yourself on this article, Pinterest is still in “Invite Only Mode”, which means that you must have an invite in order to be able to register for an account. As a user myself, I have quite a few invites available so if you would a free invite, simply post a comment below with your email address and one will be sent over to you within 24 hours.
In all honesty, I find it rather strange that Pinterest is in fact still in Invite Only mode, considering the growth of the website, and the fact that they really need more male members. Yes, that is right, Pinterest has a member base of around 90% females at this current time, as apparently men don’t like to pin pictures to a wall much. I guess I am in that rather weird 10% then.
Right now, you can log onto the Pinterest website and request an invite from the site itself. How long this takes for you to get an account varies, and you are emailed by the site asking you to simply explore pins whilst they find the right time to offer you a user account allowing you to log in to the website and save some of your very own pins. This method of getting an invite here is simply quicker and saves the emails you get from the company trying to encourage you to explore, when you probably already have if you are requesting an account to use it more.
