New YouTube App for Android 4.0 - Suck My Trend

New YouTube App for Android 4.0

Today Google has released a new version of it’s YouTube app for Android 4.0. The new features of the app include an end to buffering, a channel guide and a remote control function.

The end to buffering has been achieved through a pre-loading system that loads videos from your subscribed channels whilst your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and charging. The benefits of this is you will use up less data when you watch videos and it will take less time to load your videos because they will be available straight away.

The remote control function allows you to connect via TV and watch the latest YouTube videos through a TV integration system. This idea evolved from the new Google TV’s. Soon this idea will be available to use on any internet TVs.

For the time being this is only available if you have the latest android update, however it is expected that once all the bugs are fixed, Google will reach out for a downloads to a bigger audience. We are not sure how long Google will take to do this because they have bigger problems to think about right now with images being leaked for their Google Nexus Tablet 7 and the 1st birthday for Google Plus.
