Frankie Boyle, famous UK Comedian has had quite a bit of trouble today after issues sprung up in a Daily Mail article about him paying a lack of tax. Since then, Frankie has fought back, after waiting for his accountant to get back online and has sent a number of tweets from his twitter account today in order to make his point clear.

 From 2007 I have paid £2.7million in tax and this equates to just under 40% of my income. 1/5

Frankie Boyle says he is paying tax, up to 40% of his earnings, which is quite near to the UK average, however the Daily Mail report seems to be disagreeing with him.

There is apparently a £900,000 gap according to the Daily Mail report, and this has happened shortly after Jimmy Carr suffered the same issues.

Social Media could be helpful with how Frankie is getting his point across, but is it causing more of a negative effect at the same time? I guess we will have to see what people say.

So Frankie Boyle had a company that was liquidated and is now being investigated for tax dodging…LOL
