From a Finnish news source comes the story of an Apple iPhone allegedly ‘exploding’ in the pocket of a 17-year-old boy this week.
In an obtained security surveillance tape, Henri Helminen is seen quickly pulling a smoking device from his pants pocket and throwing it to the pavement. The boy tells the journalist:
“The phone was working perfectly (beforehand)”
The boy went on to say that he had purchased the device not 3 months prior to the incident – but we are still unsure of the exact model of iPhone he was allegedly using. Below is the surveillance tape of the incident.
Apple did not responding to questioning about the event; this certainly not being the first report or exploding iPhones. However, in the world of technology it could be extremely simple to alter a video to earn a quick settlement from a large corporation like Apple.
