Facebook launches the “Voice” bar for Pages

A previous issue on Facebook occurred when users were unsure who they were using Facebook as when making comments, posts and “liking” pages.

Facebook has overcome this issue by enabling a “Voice” bar, which is a blue bar appearing at the top of the screen just under the main blue bar with the logo and notifications etc.

If you are logged in as your page, the bar will notify you that you are posting, commenting and Liking as the page. When you access the page logged in, you will automatically switch to it if you are an Admin of it. If you click the “Switch to username” link next to that information on the bar, it will revert and take you back to your own user.

It is only a minor change, but it solves the common issue where a big business related status is being posted by a guy with a profile picture of him showing off his muscles. No, that wasn’t me.
