Putin orders Russia Enquiry into Floods

Russia’s President seems to feel that not enough was done about the Russian Flood deaths that occurred over the past couple of days when flash floods hit during the night and killed over 150 people.

This is a terrible loss of life, and the news of the enquiry has been tweeted over 10,000 times, making it the most popular news topic socially today trending across the world.

Vladimir Putin demanded to know how much warning was actually given to people. The issue was that this happened in the middle of the night when people were asleep. Phones are turned off, computers are off so nobody is checking the weather, and suddenly the flash floods hit after a massive rainfall.

A total of 155 deaths have been recorded following the disaster.

Witnesses explained that is was as if a tsunami was flowing through the towns.

The town of Krymsk was the worst affected, and the surrounding areas. This is where the most loss of life occurred when the floods hit.

There are currently 1000 rescuers working hard to find missing people and potential survivors, but the President feels that more should have been done with a pro-active approach, rather than a re-active one.
