A big question in Social Media today is the question of who Harry Styles is dating. Although we don’t cover too much celebrity gossip, we have noticed that this topic is spreading round Facebook and Twitter at a very fast speed today. The reason for this is the rumours that hit the tabloids both yesterday and today saying that Harry Styles is dating Made in Chelsea star, Caggie Dunlop. Harry Styles has said that the rumours are not true and that they are not dating. A lot of comments on various sites have said the same thing more or less:

It is a valid question, however it goes to show how a celebrity dating or starting a relationship can have a big effect on social media. Let’s take a look at Justin Bieber. He pretty much runs Twitter at the moment with the huge amount of followers he has, with most of his tweets being retweeted at least 20,000 times whether they are of importance or not. When the news came out about Selena, Twitter went a little bit mental. One Direction’s Harry Styles is also a bit of a heartthrob, especially in the UK after becoming popular all over the country, so when rumours come out that he is dating somebody, the same effect happens as with Justin Bieber and everyone actually wants to know if the rumours are true or not. Those poor teen girls will be heartbroken when Harry Styles actually get’s a girlfriend.
