A website called Hate Tweets to Frank Ocean has been created in order to deter people from posting rude remarks about Frank Ocean after he publicly announced his sexuality to the world earlier this week.
The site is a wonderful idea, and we feel is linked to the famous site, Is It Old? after we found it tweeted by the same developer.
This Frank Ocean site allows you to see a random tweet that has recently been posted that is horrible against Frank Ocean, and then tweet that user saying the following:
It’s not who you love – it’s *that* you love that truly matters
When you click “Show me tweets”, you can reply to the first one or view other ones by clicking “Show me another tweet”. There is a lot to go through and eventually everyone will be reminded that it is true love that matters, nothing else.
The site is a nice gesture, and we admire the developers as well as Frank Ocean for his courage against immature people and their over confident messages on social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, saying things they would not usually in real life.
The site reads the following short message when you access it:
On Wednesday the 4th of July, 2012, artist Frank Ocean published a letter on his blog about his first love. He was 19 years old and the person he loved happened to be a man.
Some people have chosen to write vicious, disgusting replies to Mr Oceans letter of love. This, frankly, cannot stand. So go ahead and reply them with one simple, universal message: all that matters is *that* you love and show that in the end, love conquers all.
