Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” Available for All Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ Devices

We got the first taste of the newest iteration of the Android OS software, “Jelly Bean”, at Google I/O a while back. It was announced on the newest Galaxy S III smartphone and Nexus 7 tablet. Just yesterday, Google announced that the 4.1 update will be released to all Galaxy Nexus gadgets in the coming weeks. Of course, we are not given a specific date and time, as it gives some leeway for potential errors in the update process.

Owners of these Galaxy Nexus devices are urged to watch for upcoming update messages and/or check for updates periodically for the OTA update.
