BBC Crash causes iPlayer and Site issues

BBC suffered from a Technical Issue, the same time that O2 customers were unable to gain access to their service.

The iPlayer went down for millions all over the world who wanted to tune in and watch On Demand TV

The issue has since been solved and access is now fully available to the site and iPlayer services.

BBC News website kept suffering from temporary outages, some lasting for a few minutes at a time. This happened multiple times before the issue was solved by the BBC technical staff.

The reason for the outage is being investigated internally and has not yet been publicly announced. Not many people are too worried now that the service is back up and running again. People have complained simply because of the TV License fees counting towards BBC iPlayer and they feel they should have full access to that service whenever they want it.

Analysts have noted that this was most likely a technical issue, and highly unlikely to have been a hacking based attack.
