The Trending Apps on Google Play have once again updated and another app has taken the top spot. This time however it is not a popular game, It’s not Amazing Alex, it is actually a wallpaper based application that is capable of changing styles depending on the time of day in your location called Paperland Live Wallpaper.

Once you download the app, you can chose from a selection of different wallpapers, with the most popular choice being the Paperland one. This is the map based one which has moving visual animated effects on your homescreen (you can’t interact with them sadly, popping clouds with my finger would of been fun), and if it is night where you are, expect to see the moon and stars in the sky instead of the daytime sun.

This App has been downloaded over 100,000 times, making it a very popular, trending application for Android Devices.

The App description has the following to say to potential downloaders.

A fantastic paper cut-out landscape scrolls across your screen! Choose a fixed time of day, or let the sun and moon rise and set according to real world around you.

The comments and ratings have been good, however there are issues with Android 4.1 running this App on Galaxy Nexus devices. The Developers of this app are aware of the issue and stated the following in their app description on the download page.
