Everyone was looking forward to the latest Batman film coming out today, as the Premiere hits all over the world, but sadly, at the Premiere in Denver, Colorado 14 people have been killed by a masked gunman.

A man came into the cinema screening and opened fire, killing 10 people at the scene, and then 4 people died after arriving at hospital.

Around 50 people have said to have been injured.

Various reports have also said that a smoke bomb was sent off in the cinema during the shooting, allowing the shooter, who was apparently wearing a gas mask, to shoot people with ease, without being affected by the smoke, depending on the mask that he actually had.

Witnesses at first thought it was special effects set up for the premiere, as after all it is big news and a big event, but sadly it was something a lot worse, which has seen 14 lives lost.

CNN Quoted a witness saying the following:

“A guy slowly making his way up the stairs and firing – picking random people.”

Update 1:

Police say Tear Gas was fired, and live victims are being treated for gas related injuries as well as gunshot wounds.

Update 2:

Police have arrested a 24 year old man and have him in custody. They are searching for the suspect’s vehicle, and the suspect has apparently said he has explosives at his home.
