Trending on Twitter recently have been hashtags which allow the general public of tweeters to ask celebrities any question of our choice. The idea of a question and answer session via twitter has been a popular way for celebrities to be in the spotlight whilst either promoting themselves, a new album, a new film and go up the ladder to stardom.

Today a new hash tag began trending #AskAdamPitts If you don’t know who Adam Pitts is, he is the drummer from the band Lawson and surprise surprise Lawson have a new single Taking Over Me coming out on 5th August. The hype over his trending twitter has sparked lots of interest over the new single as the video has now hit over 1 million views.

Other trending ‘ask’ hashtags from celebrities include #AskFrankie (Frankie Cocozza), #AskBieber (Justin Bieber), #AskBoris (Boris Johnson) and #AskHarry (Harry Styles). These have also been great to catch up on the celebrity gossip and you could even #AskHarry who is Harry Styles dating?
