Will YouTube remain popular? - Suck My Trend

Will YouTube remain popular?

YouTube is constantly Trending and becoming more popular. Google has made a smart move by acquiring the Video Social site, as it will be a move that will bring them income for many years. They have optimised it in so many brilliant ways, turning YouTube into a true Google product whilst keeping it just as popular with the users of the world.

Google have made it possible for anyone to join the Partner Program and have adverts placed before videos so that users can make money from those ads. This means Google has brought in their AdSense program which has been a popular choice for webmasters for many years. They have also merged YouTube accounts with Google+ accounts so everything can be shared between each other. It works seamlessly, because it is all by the same company. No conflicts.

Internet Gets Faster
YouTube’s main reason for continued growth in my opinion is internet speeds. They are getting faster everywhere and more people in rural areas are able to get access to broadband, when before they would struggle to load YouTube videos and other high bandwidth content on the web. With more of the world gaining access to fast internet this brings in new users. Then, with more people in cities getting even faster internet and unlimited bandwidth plans with their contracts, they are happier to spend more time on YouTube consuming bandwidth like there is no tomorrow. There are is also the Wireless 3G and 4G which is getting better and faster. It is being covered in more areas and when it works well, it delivers good speeds. This technology works much better in the US right now with 4G fully active, whereas in the UK we still have 3G which can struggle from time to time, especially on YouTube. The days of no buffering are coming in closer.

Partner Program
Recently, YouTube announced that their Partner program is now open to everyone who has at least one video on their account set up for monetisation. This means it has an advert played before hand, and the user has synced up their AdSense account so that everytime that advert is viewed, they take a commission on the view or clicks. People who have high profile YouTube accounts are making six figures a year basically working as a Freelance YouTuber, and the path is still open to everyone whilst YouTube is experiencing this great growth. If it ever stalls, they will put restrictions in place on this, so it is best to get in there now and work from it over the years. If you have a personal website with AdSense adverts on, and a YouTube channel with a few videos on, those two sites will bring in their own income and increase your total that you take home from Google each month.

Google+
Finally, there is Google+. This social networking site has not yet kicked off, but as soon as Facebook goes on the decline, like every Social Networking site does, Google will jump on that bandwagon and encourage users to come over and use Google+. They will then be able to effortlessly upload their hangouts as YouTube videos or even sync with YouTube Live. They can share their videos on their Google profiles and let their friends know about the great videos they are making, and Google will encourage this as much as possible, meaning more hits for your videos if you are not yet managing it well on Facebook from a Page with lots of “likes” for example.
