Ernie Els pulled out a great Victory in the Open Championship Golf Tournament. Ernie won the game at Royal Lytham, and after winning and collecting his trophy he explained that he wants to meet up and have a drink with Nelson Mandela, the ex-president.

He said:

“If I win I’d better thank President Mandela because I grew up in the apartheid era, and then in the change to democracy and President Mandela was right there.

Nelson Mandela is 94 now, so let’s hope he can handle the pub and a big celebration of booze.

Adam Scott was set to win the Open, but then Ernie Els pulled it out of the bag and got some great holes, giving him the victory that shocked the audience and people watching all over the world.
