Videogames not being guilty of making people violent murderers, something that we would all enjoy to see. GTA games and FPS games have been accused many times before of Inspiring teenagers of becoming psycho killers or doing random acts of terror.
But in this case they are yet again being held responsible for the “Batman: The Dark Knight Rises” premiere disaster that happened on July 20th. This was said during a broadcast of famous news station CNN, who called in Pat Brown, a profiler, to give an Opinion on the matter.
“He must have most likely prepared himself for this and was obsessed by it. Spending lots of time in his appartment and playing videogame after videogame - shooting, shooting shooting – thinking about how it would be to do the real act. It made his day. Im not saying videogames make you into a killer. But if you are likely to be a killer, then videogames can put you into a state where you would actually do so.
We are seeing more and more how teenagers are being inspired by this and trying to make it reality. It is dangerous, but it doesn’t make you a psycho.”
