Temple Run is an arcade game that has been around for quite some time now. It has always been popular, but has dropped in the ratings over the past year as more apps are created.

One of the things holding them back was the fact that they did not have a release available for Android! This meant this amazing game was available for the iPhone users, but people with the devices such as HTC or Samsung Galaxy had to enjoy other games.

Well, a week or so ago, this all changed. The game has received well over 10 million downloads now on the Android Market and this is expected to grow whilst more people wish to compete with their friends on the score they have achieved.

The game is completely free. The way they make their money is by selling in-game coins which allow you to unlock new characters, or buy power-ups for your character.

Please note this game is not compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Perhaps a petition will change that! It seems to be running Angry Birds Space just fine, so it can’t be down to a performance issue.

So, my score on Temple Run for Android? 821,601 – I could do better but I keep swiping up when I should be swiping down! Habit! That was a 5,302m run, and I collected 3,291 coins on that run. Not too shabby!
