A Visit to the Paralympic Opening Ceremony

Suck My Trend were lucky enough to make it into the finals of The Startup Games, which we are still attending; and as part of the event we were situated at One Stratford Place Place last night where we had an amazing view of the Paralympic Opening Ceremony Fireworks.

A lot of people have been searching on the internet for pictures of the Opening Ceremony for the Paralympics, and we offer them from a unique perspective from our Photographer Emma. You will be able to see a few pictures here in this article, and if you would like to see the full gallery, then you can with the link below:

Overall the fireworks at the ceremony were amazing. We expected them to be at around 11pm when in fact they were at midnight, so we had a long wait in the cold on the roof terrace, but the pictures our writer/photographer Emma managed to get from the area made it totally worth it.

We are still part of the Startup Games, and we are attending the Final Day of the event tomorrow where the winners will be announced, and we are lucky enough to have a chat with Google. Just today I had a lovely chat with a high up employee within Yammer, and we have received some great feedback on our website which we hope we can use to make the experience of Suck My Trend better for you. We have a lot of ideas in the works and we will be shipping them out soon, so stay tuned.

Of course this is more of a personal post from the team to you as the reader, but we wanted to keep you updated, as well as give you some great images of the fireworks we got to experience last night. As a Startup, we are looking for writers to contribute to the website, and if you are interested, please do send an email over to ash@suckmytrend,com with your CV attached telling us why you’d like to work for us.

Thank you for being part of Suck My Trend
