Everybody Searching for the Lion in Essex - Suck My Trend

Everybody Searching for the Lion in Essex

You may notice the title of this article is that everybody is searching for the Essex Lion. Well, the Police were searching in real life, through the fields of Essex and finding nothing but a ginger cat who is hardly a threat. Everybody else was also searching, but they were doing these searches through a search engine called Google, and Google images especially.

The searches for “Essex Lion” and “Lion in Essex” were extremely high as everybody in the UK realised there may be a lion on the loose, and wanted to find out if it was true or not.

Of course, the Police have since called of the search, and a woman claimed that the cat actually belonged to her and was just a fat cat.

Police spent 24 hour searching the area around Clacton-on-Sea for this lion, and nothing was found. They believe that it may have been a large domestic cat, or a wildcat, and they have not confirmed whether or not the woman who claimed the cat was hers, is actually the owner of the lion or not. It is rumoured she owns Essex Zoo however, and she enjoys having that as the mane attraction of Essex. (You are allowed to Retweet that amazing joke if you wish, but a credit is always appreciated)

Good old HuffPost had some fun with the images and came up with what we are sure is what would have been found. This is the Essex Lion for sure, and we are so thankful that we are no longer at threat from this large animal, high up in a tree. Have you ever seen a Lion in a tree.

There have not been too many Memes popping up. Perhaps if this was more worldwide news it would have been the case. However if you expected to see some Memes and are now feeling disappointed, you can check out our Ecce Homo story, where we have more Memes than you can count…or draw.
