Hilarious Sleepwalking Mom Video Goes Viral


Perhaps the greatest thing that has come of the evolution of the cell phone is the video camera. Today, anyone with a smartphone can capture anything they may encounter. Whatever you may come across probably won’t lead you to stardom, but just might become the next YouTube fad. That is exactly what happened to Nick Foti who captured gold one night in his family’s kitchen.

On his way to make some tea one night, Nick discovered his mom sleepwalking in the dark. While completely unconscious and unaware of what was going on, her son decided capture the moment for some laughs later on. We also get to see some of her best dance moves. Nick recorded a short conversation with her where she coined the phrase “Tomato Cage”. Little did he know, the video would later go viral on YouTube – with over 65,000 views in just 3 days! In the description below the video, Nick explains that a particular medication that his mom takes causes her to occasionally sleepwalk and even sleep eat. On his popular YouTube Channel, Nick Foti already had tens of thousands of subscribers and over 15 million video views. Under the username ‘stillsoundlyawake’ is where he uploaded this embarrassing clip of his mother.

After the fact, Nick shared the video with his mother. Anticipating a hilarious reaction, he decided to film this as well. She seems to be genuinely surprised by what she sees and claims to have no recollection of the event at all. Don’t feel bad about laughing at her expense, because Mrs. Foti is laughing right along with you.
