This app was released in February by Google Creative Lab and Larva Labs and so far has reached over 5 million downloads. Some say that this app is too alike to that already in the market and it is only fun for a short amount of time, but I disagree.

Yes, the concept is very similar to other apps such as ‘Avatar Yourself’, however the simplicity and adaptability to design and create your own character makes this unique as you are unlikely to make a robot similar to anyone else.

The range of clothes and accessories are fun and inventive. They have aviators, converse and skinny jeans for the indie you that is just waiting to be released. Or is punk more your style? Whatever your taste, create your own personality and identity or have fun and create your friends and family or the most eccentric person you know. You can even become part of the wolf pack from Hangover by the option of a t-shirt with a baby with sunglasses on. Why don’t you try it yourself and see what you think.
