GTA V is becoming one super hyped game. Of course Diablo 3 took the title of being the Most Hyped Game of the year, with Metal Gear Ground Zeroes potentially creeping up into those title rankings as well. However, with a lot of gamers, GTA V is the one to look forward to. It feels like it may bring back what we loved about San Andreas; not only providing better graphics but also providing a lot more to do and a real world feeling environment that will please all types of gamers, as long as they are over the age of 18 of course. (If you are in the UK that is)
On a personal level, I enjoyed playing the missions and going through the storyline, but most of my laughs came from those manic police chases with a six star wanted level and the Army closing in with choppers and tanks. It was a laugh and I like being able to stick my games console on and have a good laugh. So for me, completing the game will be one challenge that I will enjoy and get out of the way, before setting off and destroying the city as much as possible. The buildings may not crumble to the ground like in Mercenaries or Battlefield, but they will suffer the carnage of grenades and RPG fire when I miss the choppers blitzing 50 caliber bullets at me.
Having the ability to fly and experience height once again will be great and bring back that extra level of dimension in the game. Copter flying in GTA IV was basic and not really required unless your mission was the other end of the map. In GTA V it is going to be for constant base jumping and getting to the tops of mountains for more base jumping. I’m actually looking forward to it as if I will literally be in the plane myself.
We have a lot to look forward to with this title, and that is what makes the hype grow. The people of the world sharing it via social media and news websites is one thing. Rockstar sticking out a new screenshot once in a while is also another thing. However for us gamers who have played the previous titles, we will be making comparisons and remembering the good times.
