According to BBC News, the small town of Ely are in shock after the recent attacks of Hit and Runs that occurred.

The map below shows the locations where the events took place and people were either injured or killed in the hit and run attacks.

13 People were injured by a white van. One additional woman died. Two of the injured people are in a critical condition. A 31 year old man has been arrested and police have been given an additional 48 hours in order to question him. The incident was said to have lasted an entire 30 minutes. It is reported that in some cases the person came out of the van and assaulted people with a weapon.

The woman who died is Karina Menzies who was 32 years of age.

6 girls between the ages of 23 months and 12 years old were among the injured. A nine year old boy is also injured.
