7/7 Tribute Bus ‘Spirit of London’ in Arson Attack

Two 14 year old girls have been arrested for arson after attacking a 7/7 tribute bus known as The Spirit of London. It has been noted as Mindless Vandalism. BBC News says that the entire top deck of the bus suffered significant fire damage, and that Transport for London will be paying up to £50,000 to pay for repairs to the bus. Of course, the 14 year old girls will most likely get a slap on the wrist and not have to pay a fine, especially nothing near the £50,000 which will come out of the taxpayers pocket.

The bus was a replacement to the one that was bombed by terrorists on July 7th 2005. 13 people lost their lives in Tavistock Square when it happened. These 14 year old girls either have no respect for the lives of others or did not realise that the bus was in memory of the attacks of those that died.

The bus was running on a 24 hour route and the bus number was 69.

The memorial bus has been in service since October 2005 and has run on multiple bus routes around the City of London.
