Ubisoft Forgets to Ship Keys with New Game RockSmith - Suck My Trend

Ubisoft Forgets to Ship Keys with New Game RockSmith

Ubisoft are in a bit of trouble after they sent out copies of their new game Rocksmith, but did not include Keys with them.

According to Kotaku, the people affected by this issue will be given a Guitarcard Timesaver, meaning they get access to the mini games related to the release of Rocksmith. I guess that’s one good thing, as purchasing all of the DLC can end up being rather expensive.

Ubisoft Support Forums were quick to help with the issue. Let’s just hope you are not one of the people who made the purchase but did not keep the receipt, because you need to provide proof of purchase when you ask for the key. When you have finished providing the information you need to, Ubisoft should be in touch quickly to resolve the issue for you.

This issue affects users on the PC, as console versions do not require a CD Key in order to operate.

The reviews for Rocksmith have not been too amazing, but it’s bringing back a game that we have already played and enjoyed. It will be hard to compete with Guitar Hero and Rock Band.
