Phone Hacking is about to hit the top of the UK news once again. The BBC has just reported that there have been four high court claims made against the Sunday and Daily Mirror, and also The People in regards to Phone Hacking.
It’s been big news already and has seen a prestigious paper, News of The World be axed.
Trinity Mirror who is the big parent company in all of this has not yet made a comment or statement, however we sure do expect something by morning.
A spokesman at the newspaper group had the following to say:
“We are unaware action has been taken at the High Court.”
Well, now they know, and it sure isn’t going to be quiet news. Media moguls are loving this kind of news, especially when it’s their competition under fire.
So who has made the claims? Well, there is Sven-Goran Eriksson, who used to manage England Football Team. There is also Shobna Gulati who is an actress in Coronation Street, a nanny for the Beckhams called Abbie Gibson, and finally Garry Flitcroft, former manager of Blackburn Rovers Football Team.
It will be interesting to see how this story develops and we will keep you updated so stay tuned.
