Megaupload will soon be back, according to Kim Dotcom. Today news was announced via his website that the new domain will be me.ga – At the moment, this URL redirects to Kim.Com and supplies some infomation about The new Mega which could make it a success once again in the online download and file hosting market.
Privacy is going to be a big thing, and it would seem that it will be easier than ever to secure and confidential file hosting with full encryption and decryption in place.
The Cloud will play a big part of it too, allowing more seamless downloads and an awful lot more space for Mega to play with. Let’s hope they can keep up with the demand that will surely be coming into play on January 19th. This date is the one confirmed so far on the new Me.Ga website, which says that “on January 19th, this button will change the world” – I am quite looking forward to clicking it to see what it does. Perhaps it will cure world peace or world hunger.
Under that big button, you can enter your email address to stay in the know on the latest news related to Megaupload’s release.
Mega states that they have raised enough money to succeed with the launch, but if the service is to remain free for everyone to use, they are going to need some more investors on board. This is why they have a contact form available on the new website where you can get involved if you think it will be a good investment to make. Perhaps we should make a page like that too.
Kim has been keeping us all in the loop very well, and we look forward to seeing what comes from it all.
