Kids have Miniclip. Men have Adult themed entertainment, and women, well they have Pinterest.

Every type of person needs their personal time with the internet. The kids love to play a few games and have some fun, whether that be the applications that are available on facebook, or by playing some of the flash based games on a website such as Miniclip or AddictingGames

The adult male requires something a bit different for his personal time on the computer. Something that relates around adult themed entertainment, and I am not talking about a documentary about gun crime.

So that leaves us with the female. They have never had anywhere to simply relax and let go when they are using the internet, and that is where Pinterest comes into it. This site is used by millions of members. 98% of those millions of members are female. This is a great place for females to come and share their interests and socialise in a way that has not been possible before.

The female aura is quite obvious as soon as you land on the homepage, and this is why the men are not signing up. A male logs onto the website and is instantly hit with pictures of flowers, happy memories and topless male models in a format that scrolls on forever. This is not such an appetizer for most men, so the registrations on the alpha front have gone a little sour.

This is great for the girls, as while the men continue to stay uninterested in the web creation that is Pinterest, females will continue to have somewhere on the internet that they can call home.  Bit better than Backstreet Bangers for the men, and no this is not a café down your local side street.
