Tim Weber, Tech Editor, leaves the BBC

The Tech news editor for the BBC is set to quit after 20 years working with the well known company in the UK.

The Next Web reported the news after a Status on Twitter showed the intent of the BBC editor.

Twitter was where Tim turned to in order to admit the rumour that has been spreading around the Tech World, was in fact true.

The status read the following:

[information]And yes, it’s true RT @JoshHalliday: BBC News stalwart Tim Weber to leave after 20+years. Tributes from @Peston & cobit.ly/INM833[/information]

Tim has not yet said what he plans to do after leaving the company, but said that he wishes to leave the BBC on a high, before things start to get boring, and begin to find a new venture.

Let’s wish him luck!
