Has the Grand Theft Auto V PC Petition hit it’s Peak?

Grand Theft Auto gamers want the PC version to come out. So much so that a petition on Change.org has reached over 100,000 signatures in just a few days, hitting it’s target.

However, the target was changed to allow more people to get involved and sign the petition, and it would seem that it has now hit it’s peak, as only a thousand signatures or so a day are coming in. It is currently at 115,000 supporters who have signed their digital signature, and the new target is set at 150,000.

Don’t get me wrong though. It’s started to slow but at the same time, over 100,000 people interested in the game as a PC version will lead to huge profits for Rockstar, and they should highly consider porting it over and making it available as a release. Surely Change.org could even supply the addresses or atleast countries of the people who voted the most, and then Rockstar can sell the game as a PC version in those countries, then they can be shipped internationally. Just an idea of course as Rockstar have only said they are not confirming a PC release as they need to ensure it is a smart business decision.

Although the signatures have slowed, they will continue flowing in, and it will kick off again as soon as Rockstar make their new official post in regards to the game releases and states that once again, there will not be a confirmed PC release. Of course we hope that this is not the case and Rockstar at least reveal a date, which by the looks of things, even if it was confirmed it would be months after the release on PS3 and Xbox 360 before we will be seeing a copy as PC gamers. Shame.
