The Covent Garden Giant Advent Calendar made from Lego was a Success - Suck My Trend

The Covent Garden Giant Advent Calendar made from Lego was a Success

If you visited Covent Garden recently in London, then you most probably came across the massive advent calendar that was made entirely from lego pieces. This advent calendar was created by a specific team of people who each year are assigned a Lego building project around the world. This year the advent calendar was their job and it proved to be a success as each day a new door opened revealing a scene within it, also made from lego.

Duncan Titmarsh is the UK ”Lego Certified Professional”, and not many can have that name. A team of 12 have this title from around the world, and they come together to create these types of visual masterpieces.

The Advent Calendar was made from 600,000 bricks, taking a rather long time to create, but the final creation was amazing and looked really quite cool.

Duncan has created other similar projects in the past, including an awesome London Underground Tube Map made entirely from Lego. This of course is a project that is much bigger and required the full team to get involved.
