Here is the first official portrait of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. It has been revealed this morning at the National Portrait Gallery, London. The painting is inspired by Photo-realism in which the paint is so delicately applied that it is as realistic as a photograph. However, critics have suggested that this can’t be true! In fact the image has also been slated because it has made Kate look much older than she in fact is. The bags under her eyes and wrinkles on her chin definitely don’t help with this matter.

I think the only way we can make our own judgements is by seeing it in the flesh. But for now, here it is -
