It’s that time of year again. New Year celebrations all around and then yet more sales. This year things have been a little different in terms of sales. Firstly Black Friday made it’s appearance in a large amount of UK stores for the first time, Boxing Day Sales started before Christmas in many Online locations. Now the Boxing Day sales have carried on and basically been renamed as January Sales. Retailers are struggling this year and sales keep bringing people in and buying stuff rather than turning to online competitors or simply going without. It’s worked and revenues have soared a lot more this year than previous years after the recession hit, AKA the credit crunch.
