A video of burglar robbing a house with hidden cameras has gone viral this week. The user was a member of the popular site Reddit, and he posted the video on YouTube, allowing 2 million views on the video since it was uploaded on New Years eve.
At one point in the video, the criminal appears to notice the cameras, but carries on stealing goods from the house. At the end of the video, they are then captured disabling one of the cameras.
It is then reported that they poured bleach on the recording equipment in the house in order to destroy the evidence, but the hard drive luckily survived bringing this evidence to light.
News has now been released that a man has been arrested in relation to the crime. His name is Qushawn Dy’antay Newsome and he is only 17.
The woman who posted the video originally on Reddit said the following:
“We actually work for all that we have. We are not rich. We are not poor. I will not apologize to anyone for someone breaking in my house and stealing the things I own. It is not so much what they took. It is that they kicked in MY door. They came in MY house. That is mean.”
