LinkedIn Reached 200 Million Users - Suck My Trend

LinkedIn Reached 200 Million Users

According to The Next Web, LinkedIn has reached a milestone of 200 million members and counting. They are active in over 200 countries. LinkedIn is a brilliant place to have an online CV with your achievements throughout your life to make you attractive for a job role.

This amount of members means that around 172,000 new registrations are happening each day. That is a big achievement right there.

LinkedIn revealed the top five countries where the members are coming from.

  • 74 million from the US.

  • 18 million from India.

  • 11 million from Brazil.

  • 11 million from the UK.

  • 7 million from Canada.

Turkey is currently their fastest growing country. You have to remember this number is counted by registrations and not Monthly Active Users. Facebook’s 1 billion number is active users who log on to the website at least once a month. That is a much bigger amount of people, but for a professional based network, LinkedIn is doing very well.

LinkedIn also made this information available in the form of an infographic, which you can view below.
