HTC has added another smartphone to their Desire franchise with the release of HTC Desire C. The device runs on Android operating system and comes with affordable price with 3.5 inch standard display.
These days almost everyone is going for the low-end customers and that is exactly what HTC did there with its HTC Desire C. The device is made to cater the low-end customer. HTC has also gone back to its tradition roots in terms of design and color. Desire C looks like a typical HTC device with red, white and black in color.
For now it will be hitting the UK market only but later on it will be available in other European markets and global markets as well. But we do not know whether it will be available in US or not and looking back at other low-end HTC devices the answer seems to be no. But we still can’t say anything until something official comes out.
As far as the specifications of the handset are concerned, it runs on Android 4.0 Icecream Sandwich along with HTC Sesne 4.0. Under the hood you will find 600MHz processor with 512 MB of RAM. It has 3.5 inch HVGA display and has 5 megapixel main rear camera. Desire C is little short on storage with 4GB internal storage but does offer free 25GB Drop cloud storage along with Beats Audio.
HTC Desire C comes with a price tag of $275 and will be available on Virgin Media, Vodafone, O2, Orange, Phones4U, T-Mobile, Tesco Mobile in UK and The Carphone Warehouse. Handset it set to release somewhere in June this year.
