Toshiba has announced its new tablet called the Toshiba AT300. This device is real beauty and as far as basic specifications are concerned, Toshiba AY3000 runs on Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 and has a standard 10.1 inch display. The device is packed with quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 chip and all this is available in a thin aluminum body. AT300 offers a sleek and stylish design and seems to be a better looking tablet. As for battery Toshiba AT300 offers 10 hours of battery life which is really notable.
It is the design of AT300 that really stands out. Made out of Aluminum the Toshiba AT300 is downright gorgeous with slim 0.35 inch (8.95mm) thickness. And it weighs about 1.3 pounds which makes 590g, really impressive.
Coming to the hardware, Toshiba AT300 offer standard 10.1 inch display but what is really staggering is that it is Gorilla Glass LED backlit display and has 1280×800 pixel resolution. The quad core Tegra 3 mentioned earlier comes along with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. This device is pure beauty and power.
It also features rear main camera of 5 megapixels and a front facing camera of 2 megapixels, pretty convenient for video calling.
Toshiba AT300 comes in a variant of two, one with 16GB of internal memory and other with 32GB of internal memory. And you can increase it to 64GB via microSD card. The tablet will be hitting in selected markets in June. In UK it will come with a price tag of 329 pounds.
