Photos and videos of super storm Nemo from space such as this image from a NASA satellite have gone viral across the web this weekend due to the historic magnitude of the storm. Nemo´s massive size can clearly be seen in this amazing image which shows it covering the entire north-east region of the United States and the Eastern seaboard of Canada covered. In the Eastern side of the US only Florida is clear in this photo.

The areas hit by this historic storm have been brought to a standstill as the storm pounds the region, leaving about 700, 000 homes without power. As many as 25 million people were expected to be affected in the region with people being told to stock up on food and other essential supplies, after Blizzard warnings were put into effect on Friday for much of the coastal regions of the North-Eastern US.

This storm has been more than just a massive inconvenience; there have also been deadly consequences with at least 10 people known to have died from this storm already. This includes the tragic case of a 11 year old boy who died in Boston in a blizzard.
