Nokia Lumia 610 is the cheapest line in Windows Phone. With a price tag of just $255 this smartphone offers you with some pretty discouraging hardware specifications. It is the most affordable Windows Phone for no reason with a Qualcomm processor with just 800MHz and 256MH of RAM. It runs of Windows Phone 7, which can now be update to 7.5, and despite being little low on hardware things run smooth on the device, not because of its specifications but because of the efficient Windows Phone 7.5. Joe Belfiore at the time of disclosing the handset himself said that Nokia Lumia would be incompatible with almost 5 percent of the Marketplace’s directory.
But we did not know that some of the most awesome apps would fall in that 5 percent void. Recently Skype for Windows Phone was released but it was unavailable for Lumia 610 because of its low RAM and not Angry Birds, PES2012 and Tango have joined the list.
The device is seriously lacking behind in specs. And as for Nokia Lumia 610 users, well, they have bear with this unbearable problem. But if 256MB of RAM is insufficient for apps like Angry Birds then we can assume the chance of future apps running on your Lumia 610 are pretty low.
So the question is how much minimum RAM is required to solve this issue. Samsung will be releasing their budget friendly handset called Samsung Omnia M which is packed with 384MB of RAM. So, will that be enough to run some run of most basic apps. As for those who are looking to purchase Lumia 610 they should keep in mind the drawbacks of it.
