This scary video shows what it would be like to fall down a mountain from a first-person perspective, as captured by a climber’s helmet mounted camera.
This is something that most people will never be unlucky enough to experience, but because of climber Mark Roberts’ helmet mounted camera we can witness what it would be like to fall down a mountain from a first-person perspective and bounce uncontrollably.
This accident occurred on Parsley Fern Left hand Gully in Wales and, though he was fairly badly hurt, Roberts is expected to recover fully. This video shows how dangerous this activity can be and is a reminder that a good protective helmet can be a life-saver.
Does this put you off the idea of mountain climbing?
