The iPhone rumors just keep on coming. Suring the news of 4 inch Retina Display, we now have another rumor saying that the new iPhone will also have HD front facing camera. Now this is something really big. The source came from Mingchi Kuo who is an analyst for KGI. The news was given away to investors in a note. If what we have heard turns out to be true, the way we do FaceTIme video chats are totally going to change and they surely going to look awesome with 720p. Currently iPhone 4S offers VGa resolution, pretty low standard. Another minor change that we are expecting is moving the front facing camera from corner to the middle of device just like it is on current generation iPod Touch.
As for the rear main camera, it will be pretty much similar to the one on iPhone 4S in terms of megapixels and performance but we may get to see a little increased in size aperture from f/2.4 to f/2.2. But this will create problems for the component suppliers. They will have to have a smaller module otherwise it will be hard fit it into the new iPhone. Apart from that we have also heard another interesting rumor regarding the design of the device. It is believed that the new iPhone will be only 7.9 millimeters thin, pretty slim.
It is still not known whether these predictions are true or not. But if they are true, the new iPhone is going to be one hell of a device. As for the unveiling of the device, we are all anticipating to see it unveiling this fall.
