Spell Tower is a fun, spelling game made by Zach Gage. So far it is only available in the apple store, but it is soon to be announced to Android due to its popularity. It has reached #3 as the top paid app on the iPad and is available for £1.49.
It is a combination of Bejewelled, Tetris, Boggle and Scrabble all-in-one. There are 4 different single player modes to play, which include Tower mode, Puzzle Mode, Ex Puzzle Mode and Rush Mode, each offering you a different word challenge experience. The aim of the game is to connect letters up to make words, whilst scoring the best high score and best word score. You can even compete with your friends by connecting via Bluetooth.
The maturity level of this game is aimed for young adults to adults, but anyone with a brain can find words as this is a simple to use app. There isn’t a lot you can do graphics wise, but Zach Gage has done a good job at introducing inventive alterations like “Night-Time Mode” and a multiplayer option.
We definitely recommend this game. So go on become a spelling bee. If you like this game, why don’t you try “Words with Friends” and other alternative apps and tell us which one you rate.
So far at Suck My Trend our “all time best word” is JARRED scoring 426 points! See if you can do better and tell us what is your highest word score?
