The first text message was sent 20 years ago as a Christmas greeting and we now send 8 trillion messages a year globally. Facebook Messages appears to be down. Users attempting to view messages are stuck on an image that won’t load. The following screenshot shows that I am also having this same issue. We assume Facebook will be sorting this issue out very shortly and the messages system will be back up. Are you having an issue with the Messages on Facebook? Leave a comment a comment below.
